Corporate Social Responsibility – Xinsha

Corporate Social Responsibility

"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give" -Winston Churchill-

At Xinsha, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) forms an important part of our company culture where our employees are inspired in giving back to the local communities that they are part of. Xinsha organizes and sponsors charitable events with local organisations in the effort of building a better community. Our employees are involved in the events by volunteering their time and assistance.

We have worked with some of the local organisations including:

Ang Mo Kio Family Service Centre Community Service

Date: 6 Dec 2019

Coming to our last CSR event of the year, we helped out AMKFCS in their year-end event called “Spright Stars 2019”. It is an annual event where all the 3 Centres come together and showcase children’s talent to their family members and guests. Spright is an afterschool care for children in low income families. After school and during school holidays, they would be placed at Spright Academy where they would conduct activities and mentoring for them. They would grade these children and award them at the end of the year to encourage the children to excel in their lives and grades, providing them with positivity. Beside sponsoring the event, we also helped them with their pre-event preparation such as registration, ushering and manning the buffet table and exhibition booth.

Our employees accompanied the senior citizens to walk through the ‘Cloud Forest’ and ‘Flower Dome’. After enjoying the fascinating floral displays, we then gathered for lunch and had an exciting game of Bingo, before going back to the centre.
